Raghopur village has undergone significant development in recent years, especially after the completion of the Kacchi Dargah–Bidupur Bridge in 2025. Here’s a snapshot of major projects and infrastructure.

  • Kacchi Dargah–Bidupur Bridge (2025): A 6-lane cable-stayed bridge (19.76 km), connecting Raghopur directly to Patna via NH-30.
  • PMGSY Roads: Rural road upgrades have improved access to interior areas; previously seasonal roads are now usable year-round.
  • Village School Renovations: Building repairs, toilets, and classrooms added under state education schemes.
Utilities & Basic Services
  • Rural electrification under Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana — most homes now have grid power.
  • Street lights and agriculture electric pumps added in many localities.
  • Work ongoing for Jal Jeevan Yojana — piped water supply to replace tube-wells and hand-pumps.
Water & Sanitation
  • Primary drinking water source is hand-pumps and deep tube-wells.
  • Flood season raises sanitation challenges; efforts ongoing for improved drainage and hygiene awareness.
  • Toilets built under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan — nearly all households now have access to sanitation.
Healthcare Infrastructure
  • Referral Hospital, Mohanpur (~1 km) — provides outpatient services and basic care.
  • APHC at Mallikpur: Auxiliary health sub-center covering Raghopur.
  • PHC at Fatehpur (~3.5 km) — full-time doctors and vaccine supply.
  • For serious treatment, patients visit Hajipur or Patna hospitals.
Transport & Connectivity
  • NH-30 via new bridge enables 24x7 road travel to Patna and Hajipur.
  • Nearest railway stations: Fatuha (Patna) and Bankaghat (Vaishali).
  • Traditional boat and ferry services continue for short trips across the Ganges.
  • Shared jeeps/autos operate between Raghopur and nearby towns.
